The Boy-Girl Child: Shining Bright, Equal Rights

Promoting Reading to Embrace Diversity. The Dr. KeDiBone Mokwena Foundation, in partnership with Queens on the Move and Authors on the Move, visited the We Ignite Foundation in Temba, Hammanskraal.

The programme began with Reading Circles, where boys and girls were guided through meaningful conversations on Equality, Dignity, and Justice. These circles created a safe space for children to express themselves, ask questions, and learn from one another about what it means to treat everyone with fairness and respect.

As a practical expression of embracing diversity, each child received a hygiene pack. Through this initiative, the collaboration affirmed a powerful message: Every child, whether a boy or a girl, carries within them the strength to change the world.
